Having a “genuine” career as a personal trainer can be tough for even the best, however it is a fact that is widely acknowledged that however challenging it can be for male personal trainers, being a female personal trainer is even harder. Especially at a serious establishment like Ultimate Performance London where we demand that our personal trainers “live the life”, have an abundance of experience, and look and act the part so as to best inspire and educate our clients.
Because of this rigourous application of standards (and we don’t want a pretty, ornamental female personal trainer who doesn’t like to lift weights and push herself hard, - which seems to be the best that is usually on offer in London) we have struggled to find the right female personal trainer to work with us. In Daria Tiesler we have found a woman who is both physically and mentally strong enough to push the hardest of our hard men, but also who embodies the best aspects of femininity by bringing an empathy and understanding to certain personal training clients needs that are almost always best exemplified by the “female touch”. If this sounds like we are drawing a distinction between male and female personal trainers then we admit that is the case – the relentlessly tough approach of ex paratrooper Glenn Parker or the bodybuilding expertise of a Lee Spencer are not what you get from working with Daria. She places an emphasis on working with the mind, body and spirit, believing the same as Ultimate Performance founder Nick Mitchell that we need to work on all aspects of our health if we are to truly derive the most benefit from any fitness regime, no matter if the goal is muscle building, fat loss, or simply an overall improvement in fitness and well being.
One look at Daria will see that she practices what she preaches, this female personal trainer knows how to get and stay in fantastic shape and is comfortable with all areas of personal training – from working in the weights room to more cardio and rehabilitation focused work. She brings the intensity of a former professional athlete, having been a professional handball player in her native Poland, as well as bringing an intellectual rigour to all areas of her work as best exemplified by the fact that she is currently studying for a BSc in Naturopathy – something that will have a great impact upon her ability to deliver results for her personal training clients and help propel her even further in her ambition to be seen as the best female personal trainer in London.
Please email Caroline@UPFitness.co.uk if you wish to hire a London female personal trainer or to discuss any other personal training / fat loss requirement.
