Glenn Parker Testimonials:
‘I approached UP as an overweight 35 year old looking for help to lose my extra pounds and improve my overall muscle tone. I hadn’t trained for two years and I had let myself go. My initial BioSignature modulation assessment revealed I had a body fat % which was flirting dangerously close to obesity. This certainly wasn’t the diagnosis I expected, but it was enough of an incentive to signup for the ‘UP Meltdown’ programme and a radical change in my lifestyle and diet.
UP put me in touch with Glenn, an ex-para. Sadly for me it was the paratroopers rather than the para-legal field and I spent the next 6 weeks being ‘beasted’ into a sweaty submissive pulp by Glenn. It worked though as I lost 1.5 stone, 3” from my waist and gained a new found confidence about my image. My energy levels are noticeably higher too and more consistent throughout the day. Be prepared though to have to buy a new wardrobe of clothes!
Glenn is by far the best trainer I have worked with, very personable and laughs at all of my jokes, but he shows no mercy in pushing you to your limits and beyond. He promotes good strong form, so you learn as you train and knows when and what to say at the right time and when to step in to get you through the sticking point of a move. It is undeniably brutal and you get out what you put in, but I couldn’t have achieved what I have without Glenn and I’ve already signed up for another six weeks!’

"Training with Glenn was a real eye opener. Over an 8 week period i experienced a 30% strength increase. This is more than i previously achieved in a year. Not only have i gained functional strength for my rugby but i have also acquired valuable knowledge for my training"
Jake Fisk, Southend Rugby Club
"Glenn Parker has shown me rigorous understanding of boxing and advanced training techniques. He has pushed me further than any previous trainer i have had, making sure each session is tailored to my specific needs and goals. He has shown an incredible desire to introduce me to up to the minute techniques. I was not familiar with boxing, core or stability training. He will push me to my limit and beyond, and the improvement for my personal fitness and knowledge has been vast".

“On Monday I finished my meltdown training with Glenn. Just thought I’d write to let you know that I really enjoyed working with Glenn and the training\plan was excellent. He was great at pushing me through the barrier and if it wasn’t for him I’m sure I would’ve given up. I feel a lot better and overall I’m very glad I signed up to do the training. Even though it’s over I’m not going to let the good work go to waste and will continue the training so that when I do emigrate to Australia I am in peak condition when I join the police out there.”

“Having had many trainers over the years, I can definitely say that Glenn is the best, as well as the toughest! Glenn is always cheerful and friendly but also pushes me and never takes "I can't do it" for an answer. Despite only training for a couple of weeks, I can see and feel improvements in my body shape and strength and each session is a definite step closer to my goals.”

“I had the realisation that, as I was in my 30s, I wasn’t going to get fit through a piecemeal, half-hearted approach. Hence, I decided it was time to stop putting off until tomorrow what could be done today, and throw everything at my health and fitness for 6 months to see what would happen
I’m certainly a lot fitter than when I first started, and the belly I’d developed through an 8 month diet of cheese, bread and beer whilst working overseas has disappeared. I’m definitely looking a lot leaner, and on top of that, have a lot more confidence in my body than I previously had. I’ve also got more balance in my life than I had previously, the gym having given me a good alternative to focus on besides work.
Largely that progress and success is a combination of consistent application, attention to detail and support. It’s extremely unlikely I’d have reached this point without the guidance I’ve had from UP, and having Glenn and the extended UP team around to give me advice and support has definitely pushed me hard, but has been an education and, above all, a lot of fun.
I’m sticking with the current plan and with UP. I’m targeting getting my body fat down to 10%, and more importantly, putting on a bit of weight so that I’m a bit less boney! I’m starting to believe that I might actually be able to pull off having a half decent physique in the next 6 months, in spite of being veggie most days and having a crazy job!”

“A few months ago I decided it was time to break out of the endless cycle of toiling away at the gym without much to show for it. I realised I needed someone to show me “how it’s done”; how to reduce body fat and the correct way to work out with weights. I wanted to look like those guys on the cover of fitness magazines. Hey, who wants to aim low, right! A quick search in cyberspace put me in touch with Nick Mitchell and his team at Ultimate Performance.
Nick taught me how to eat the correct way for a lean, muscular physique. This was one of the things I really wanted to walk away with knowing well. Glenn, my drill sergeant, taught me how to work out at the gym. Somehow the guy got me to put on seven pounds of muscle and reduced my body fat percentage from 20 to 13 in six weeks! No mean feat by any standards. Nothing beats professional personal training advice, especially when you think you know what you’re doing. I didn’t.”
